David Bailey Jean Shrimpton inspired shoot New York 50 years on



A modern twist on an iconic shoot that originally took place in New York in 1962. David Bailey a relatively unknown photographer at the time was given the task of producing an editorial spread for Vogue magazine. The model he took with him to New York was also an unknown at the time, but he had worked with her before. Together they created a timeless collection of images that are just as inspirational 50 years on.

Rather then re-create the images i have done my own interpretation of the shoot 50 years on. It fuses together my love for both urban and fashion photography. New York City provides the perfect backdrop, a city that's iconic in its own right.

Model portfolios are available at a fixed price of £150.
So what's in the box?

4 hour studio shoot
Change your look as many times as you like during the shoot
Range of at least 12 full resolution images
All images re-touched
Images provided on disk (optimised for web images also provided)
Make-up artist extra £15ph (if required)

TFP (Time for Print)


I occasionally do TFP shoots if i'm looking to update my portfolio. If you are intersted in a TFP shoot then just ask.

All TFP shoot images will be provided watermarked but are free for personal use.

New York City Collection


Back to the place it all started and how the city has remained the same. Like walking into a movie set it's full of character, too much for the eye to take in.

On every corner of every street something is taking place, people jostling for their piece of walkway, a constant rush for the Subway.

Down below the same chaos ensues, you are greeted by buskers who serenade you with the not only their music but their New York charm.
